Slipstream SP3 To Your Xp Installation

  1. Download XP SP3 from here
  2. Download Windows XP SP2 Deployment Tools from here
  3. Create a folder on your hard drive called C:\XP_SP3_SlipStream
  4. Within this folder create 2 folders called Root and SP
  5. Copy the contents of your original Windows XP Install CD to C:\XP_SP3_SlipStream\Root
  6. Delete C:\XP_SP3_SlipStream\Root\Support\Tools\Deploy.cab
  7. Copy the downloaded WindowsXP-KB838080-SP2-DeployTools-ENU.cab file to C:\XP_SP3_SlipStream\Root\Support\Tools and rename to Deploy.cab
  8. Download Windows XP Service Pack 2 Support Tools from here
  9. Save the file to C:\XP_SP3_SlipStream and rename to Support.exe
  10. Goto Start, Run and type:
    C:\XP_SP3_SlipStream\SUPPORT.EXE /C /T:C:\XP_SP3_SlipStream\ROOT\SUPPORT\TOOLS

    Click Yes to all.

  11. Copy the downloaded service back into C:\ XP_SP3_SlipStream and rename to SP.exe
  12. Goto Start, Run and type:
    C:\XP_SP3_SlipStream\SP.EXE /U /X:C:\XP_SP3_SlipStream\SP
  13. Goto Start, Run and type:
    C:\XP_SP3_SlipStream\SP\I386\UPDATE\UPDATE.EXE /S:C:\XP_SP3_SlipStream\ROOT
  14. Wait for files to be integrated.
  15. And then burn with your favorite iso burner personally I use imgburner you can download it from here
